How to Export Your Catalog to Proxibid
Learn how to format and export your Estimint catalog for Proxibid's import system, with field mapping and best practices.
Proxibid + Estimint
Proxibid is a leading online auction platform, and Estimint makes it simple to get your catalog data into their system. Here's how to export your catalog in Proxibid-compatible format.
Preparing Your Catalog
Before exporting, verify:
- Lot numbers are assigned and in the correct order
- All items have been processed by AI (titles, descriptions, values)
- Titles are under 120 characters (Proxibid's recommended limit)
Export Steps
1. Navigate to Export
Go to Catalogs > Export in your sidebar, or open a specific catalog and click the Export option.
2. Select Proxibid Platform
Choose Proxibid from the platform dropdown. The field list updates to Proxibid's expected column names and order.
3. Review Field Mapping
Proxibid's default fields include:
- Lot Number — Your assigned lot numbers
- Title — Item titles (120-character recommended limit)
- Description — Full item descriptions
- Low Estimate and High Estimate — Value ranges
4. Add or Remove Fields
Toggle additional fields like consignor code, condition report, or tags depending on what Proxibid expects for your specific auction configuration.
5. Validate
Run the catalog validator to check for:
- Titles exceeding 120 characters
- Missing required fields
- Items without lot numbers
6. Export
Click Export Collection to download the CSV file.
Importing into Proxibid
- Log into your Proxibid seller account
- Navigate to the auction management section
- Use the lot import tool
- Upload the CSV from Estimint
- Map columns if prompted — Estimint's headers should match Proxibid's expected fields
- Review the import preview and confirm
Best Practices
- Titles matter — Proxibid's search relies heavily on titles. Include key terms like material, maker, and era. Estimint's AI is designed to write keyword-rich titles.
- Description formatting — Proxibid renders descriptions as plain text, so avoid special characters or HTML. Estimint's output is clean text by default.
- Images — Proxibid requires separate image upload. If you're an Auction Pro user, use Estimint's bulk image export to download all catalog images in a ZIP, named by lot number for easy uploading.
- Save presets — Export configurations can be saved as presets for one-click exports on future auctions.
