Getting Started with Estimint: Your First AI Listing in 60 Seconds

Why Estimint?

If you sell online — whether on eBay, at auction, or through a consignment shop — you know the bottleneck isn't finding things to sell. It's listing them. Writing descriptions, researching values, formatting titles, and uploading photos for every single item eats hours out of your week.

Estimint uses AI to turn that process into a few clicks. Upload a photo, and you get a complete listing: title, description, tags, estimated value, and condition report.

Creating Your First Listing

Step 1: Sign Up (Free)

Head to estimint.com/signup and create a free account. You get 200 AI-generated listings at no cost — no credit card required.

Step 2: Upload a Photo

From your dashboard, click New Item in the sidebar. You'll see the image upload area. You can:

• Drag and drop images from your computer
• Browse files to select from your library
• Take a photo directly from your phone's camera

Upload 1 to 20 photos of your item (depending on your plan). The AI works best when it can see the item from multiple angles, so front, back, and any maker's marks or labels are ideal.

Step 3: Add Optional Details

Below the photos, there's an optional text field for additional details. If you know something the AI can't see — like "this is a first edition" or "purchased at Christie's in 2019" — add it here. The AI will incorporate your notes into the listing.

Step 4: Generate

Click Generate Listing and wait a few seconds. Estimint's AI will analyze your photos and return:

• Title — A concise, keyword-rich title
• Description — A detailed paragraph covering materials, style, condition, and provenance
• Tags — Searchable keywords for categorization
• Estimated Value — A low-high range based on current market data
• Condition Report — An assessment of wear, damage, or restoration

Step 5: Edit and Use

Every field is editable. Click any text to refine it. Then use the Copy Listing button to paste your title and description into any marketplace, or Share to create a public link.

What's Next?

Once you've created a few listings, explore Quick Add for bulk processing, or adjust your generation preferences to match your writing style. Pro users can organize items into catalogs, track consignors, and export to auction platforms.
